I believe that in three years to come, the lives of life in Africa members will improve if we continue to work together and being creative. This is because I have seen much efforts put by the director of life in Africa to see that life in Africa members earn some thing to help them with their families. If I see every last Saturday of the month members come with a lot of stuff to sell it is really good as we get some thing to go with for our children.

Africa is very rich in creativeness and also have the potential but what we always lack is the market! We can produce good things and end up not getting where to sell. The once communication technology which was a problem, I believe is no more. The internet is doing best to link us with the western world but still the rate of selling African products is still low. I still don’t know how the sells of African products can be improved?

Nabawanuka Margaret is my name and am a muganda by tribe. I have been working in a saloon as a hair dresser that stopped when Kampala city council interrupted my business because of trade license that was to high for the small business. I stayed at home helping my sister with home work that could not help me get personal needs.

It was until when my sister Annet Nansubuga who joined Life in Africa before me called me to come, join and also involve in the community initiatives. When I stepped in life in Africa, to me was a true life in Africa. The first thing interested me was finding people dressed in African attires and making handcrafts as the best tool to sustain themselves. I started learning what I didn’t know that I would make it! And to my surprise, am now expert in making different crafts that has become my source of income. My life has changed and am now living a better life. I argue my fellow members to work together for the best of our community.
